The Impact Method
At Campbell Chamberlain, we redefine executive search by focusing on the impact first. Instead of starting with a job title, we ask what needs to be achieved in the next 12–18 months. This approach allows us to identify leaders who have successfully navigated similar challenges, ensuring a perfect fit for your organization.
The method, in 3 moves
Each stage narrows the search — from the business problem, to the proof it has been solved before, to the individual who solved it.
Define the Challenge
Before we define the person, we define the proble.
- What needs to change?
- Where does the organisation need to get to?
- What would success look like 12–18 months after the appointment?
For some searches, the role is already clear. For others, helping define the leadership requirement is part of the assignment.
Find the Evidence
We look beyond titles and conventional career paths. Instead, we ask:
- Where has this person faced a comparable challenge?
- What did they personally change?
- What measurable impact followed?
This allows us to explore adjacent sectors and broader talent markets, without losing sight of what matters.
Identify the leader
We call them Impact Players — leaders who don't simply occupy senior positions, but create meaningful change within them. They
Build
Scale
Transform
Solve difficult problems
And they can demonstrate what changed because they were there.
